The DSC Group took center stage at the ELBC, the European leg of the Global Lead Battery Series, to introduce a wide range of advanced solutions designed to help our customers navigate a rapidly evolving battery ecosystem and prepare for the industry’s next chapter.
Under the motto “Future-proofing lead-acid”, we showcased groundbreaking technologies, including a high-speed continuous casting line developed by our German partners specifically for pure lead that produces high-quality positive and negative plates; a next-generation curing chamber that can bring down curing time to just four hours; and a vacuum formation method that dramatically improves process efficiency while lowering energy consumption.
Customers from more than 15 countries visited our booth and gained insight into our comprehensive range of machinery and materials, which covers virtually every stage of lead-acid battery manufacturing, from plate production to assembly and finishing. As AGM batteries gain traction, our high-quality separators and performance-enhancing additives were among the most frequent topics of discussion.
In keeping with what has become an industry tradition, the venue for the next ELBC was revealed at the gala dinner on the eve of the conference’s final day. The organizers — the International Lead Association and the Consortium for Battery Innovation — announced that the 2028 exhibition would take place in Amsterdam. At DSC, we are already developing some of the exciting new technologies we will be launching two years from now.
But before that, we look forward to the two major exhibitions in 2027: Fenibat, the South American Battery Conference, in Brazil; and the Asian Battery Conference in Bangkok.
